RFID Wired Woven Tape
IN PRODUCTIONNarrow woven tape with conductive wire inside, providing RFID tag antenna reception.
Tape is 20 mm wide polyester with 0% elasticity. The woven conductive path has a wavelength of 1.8 cm and a 2× amplitude of 1.5 cm across a 2 cm width. Integration by hot-melt adhesive or sewing. The selvage edge prevents yarn fraying. An RFID chip can be fixed to the tape with epoxy.
