EMI Shielding Woven Tube
IN PRODUCTIONBraided tube of copper-plated aramid that expands to encase cables needing EMI protection.
RoHS

A composite of aramid (fibre glass) core covered with copper plating, braided into a tube. Compressing the length increases the diameter 1.5 to 4 times its taut state, so one size accommodates a range of cable thicknesses.
Covering is tin-plated copper over an aramid core. Heat resistant to 600 °C. The mesh formed by braiding reduces moisture and vapour buildup inside. Standard put-up is 100 m per roll, four rolls per carton. RoHS certified. OEM and ODM available.
The catalog publishes a measured EMI shielding efficiency curve: attenuation stays between roughly 55 dB and 75 dB across 30 MHz to 1 GHz, with the strongest attenuation below 200 MHz. Read from the chart on page 2 of the catalog — the underlying figures are not published as a table.
| Product | Smallest diameter (ø) | Largest diameter (ø) | Width when taut (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| KPTS-3 | 3 | 12 | 6 |
| KPTS-6 | 6 | 22 | 15 |
